cherry blossoms are supposed to be good luck in the Japanese tradition. Regardless of superstitions, I think they're beautiful. We had three of these trees in the backyard in Tehachapi (the garden was my dad's perpetual project), so even the smell makes me nostalgic. =) I took these pics on our recent trip to Monterey/Sonoma...
